Game recommendations?

Go to solution Solved by TakeToTheShadows,

Hi all,

Battlefield 4 has gotten a bit old for me. I recently got a 2 way 970 sli and I play on a single 1080p monitor, so I want to expand my game library since I finally can (i came from a 650, non-ti.) So I want some recommendations from you guys. Here's what I like:

-sandboxes (not minecraft)

-space/scifi type games

-FPS

-open-world exploration (like h1Z1?)

-zombies

Can you guys point me towards and good games? Thanks in advance!

I'm just gonna give you some categories. Also if you haven't already picked up H1Z1 then don't it's just another broken early access zombie survival game but also with pay to win so even worse than DayZ SA.

<Sandbox>

Salt

Space Engineers

Garry's mod

<Scifi>

Space Engineers

Elite Dangerous

Star Citizen (if you have a good enough rig and can put up with the business model)

Robocraft

<Fps>

Arma 3/2 (more mil sim but both amazing games)

Insurgency

Counter Strike Global Offensive

Payday 2

<Openworld/survival>

Arma 2 (Dayz mod (Zombies)

Arma 3 (Epoch (Zombies), Breaking point(Zombies), battle royale, Altis life. City life mods)

Salt

Don't Starve

The Forest

Stranded Deep

The Long Dark

Mount and Blade Warband (more medieval RPG but large world and lots of good mods)

State of Decay (Zombies)

This war of mine (hardcore sidescrolling survival)

My most recommended would be ArmA 3 not just because it's an amazing game but also the amount of mods there are for it and are still coming out (just be aware arma 3 is a very demanding game to run and multi player is even harder). Also Salt for a pure Infinite world sea/desert island survival game without all the usual base building and for Scifi definitely Elite Dangerous for Literally the biggest game world ever created (The world when it's finished will be a 1.1 Scale model of our Galaxy containing over 400 Billion actual ingame stars you can visit.

Skyrim (With tons and tons of mods)

The only category skyrim does not fit is space/scifi

butttt there's probably a mod for that... somewhere...

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case

Well in star citizen you don't pay for the game you pay for the ship you want and then as it stands right now if you want a new ship you have to pay full price for it and the ships start at about £25 and go above £300 where as in elite you pay £40 base price and then every ship in the game plus the new ones they are constantly adding in are unlock-able in game not to mention the game world and cockpit in elite while not quite as high res in my opinion just look infinitely better. And what do you mean about the second version?

No sorry I haven't picked it up you'll have to look on youtube or forums for the right ship for you and yeah it's not related.

DayZ SA, The Forest and HyperDimension Neptunia

Dude how the Hel have you sunk 500 hours into that steaming pile of glitchy unfinished, badly optimized, kos infected shit? It took them an entire year just to get one damn truck into that game that has about a 50% chance of killing you when you go within ten meters of it... It's so bad even the main dev left :')
