Best Screen Recording software?

Hey guys,

 

I'm looking for a good Screen Recording software program that can be used to record games (nothing special, stuff like Asphalt 8).

I've currently tried Microsoft Expression Encoder on 25fps but there is noticable lag in the gameplay.

Hypercam 2 had better results, however it would skip frames at different intervals making the audio go out of sync.

 

Is there anything better, or are there solutions to fixing these problems?

 

My system:

Core i5 4440

250GB SSD + 2TB HHD

8GB RAM

Sapphire R7 260x graphics card

Windows 8.1.1

I use the built-in recording in MSI Afterburner and it works well, but idk if it works with Win8 "apps" like Asphalt 8

Uhm...

You really can't get better than FRAPS when it comes to recording games..

I had lot of problems to find best one for Windows.

I end up with "BB FlashBack Express 5", I never head about him before, but end up as best for me.

Bandicam lets you set the area to record by pixels so yes.

I'm not sure about fraps though

I just tried out OBS and put simply, its fking awesome.

Records PERFECTLY on FHD.

fraps has stupid fps drops(1-3 fps on low setting down from high)  and large ass file sizes for 3O fps............
