Hello

This will be my first build so I need some advice. I live in Australia and can't really spend more than the current total of parts below.

The aim is for 1080P 60FPS gaming on a single monitor. i will not be overclocking (but maybe in the future).

Questions: Do I have adequate cooling using the stock CPU fan and case fans? Can I save money anywhere without losing performance?

Please give me as much feedback as possible.

Get a higher wattage PSU. 430W won't be enough for that build.

Plus, if you already bought that 4690K CPU, learn how to overclock it asap. Otherwise get a non-K CPU to save a bit money. Overclocking isn't that "scary" and "difficult"

Spoiler

Will a power supply with 600W be enough?

If you dont overclock the stock cooler will be fine, but I would suggest looking for a custom one at some point soon, the temps will be lower and then when you do overclock, you will be good to go

Enjoy your first build, its tons of fun

Use au.pcpartpicker.com instead of the US version. I don't know what that comes out to in AUD, so I'll just assume that's about 1500 since that's about how it converts. In that case, this is what I would do:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($308.00 @ Centre Com)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($39.00 @ CPL Online)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-G55 SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($178.00 @ CPL Online)
Memory: Kingston Fury Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($95.00 @ Centre Com)
Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($144.00 @ PLE Computers)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($102.00 @ CPL Online)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 290X 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card  ($454.50 @ Centre Com)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($84.00 @ PLE Computers)
Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($145.00 @ CPL Online)
Total: $1549.50

AIO loops are very affordable and worth going for. The stock cooler just the job fine, but its there to keep your CPU at an acceptable temperature, definitely not an ideal one.

Try getting 550-650W PSUs. And you can overclock seamlessly....

Intel Core i3 2100 @ 3.10GHz - Intel Stock Cooler - Zotac Geforce GT 610 2GB Synergy Edition

Intel DH61WW - Corsair® Value Select 4GBx1 DDR3 1600 MHz - Antec BP-300P PSU

WD Green 1TB - Seagate 2.5" HDD 1TB - Seagate Barracuda 500GB - Antec X1 E.
