Windows "Locking Up" Problem

Go to solution Solved by iccowan,

I figured out that there was some issue when I had the "show lock screen when woken up" in the screen saver settings. I disabled that since I don't really need it, and I haven't had any problems since.

Hello. I just recently built a new computer, and it just seemed like it wanted to "lock up" and not let me do anything until I restarted with the power button. I have had my computer on all day. This happened on my old windows 8.1 computer, and I just had to deal with it, but I was wondering if there is any way to fix this. I do not have a virus, because I have already run multiple scans. Thanks!

It must be you doign something, because if this happened on both this computer and last one..

Some program you installed, maybe not a virus, but something intensive or unhealthy for your computers?

In the name of windows I've never had it lock up on me except the time I clocked my CPU voltage to 0.01V...

Intel i5-6600k (Cooled by a 212 evo) - Asus Z170-A - Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 - NZXT S340 - WD 1TB (Getting SSD this month, hopefully) - 8GB DDR4-2400

LG G4 - Asus Zenwatch 2

Well its weird because it only happens if I leave my computer at under 10% usage for about 10 hours if I'm uploading something while I'm at school or something like that. If I rendered a video for 10 hours, it would be fine...

Guessing those are the specs of it in the description right?

Do you have FAH on it?
