Using Rubber Gaskets with rads (PL2 Fans)

Go to solution Solved by TJSidhu,

I just got NB fans with the gasket myself. while the concept seems nice i found them almost impossible to align properly. In the end i gave up :/

I couldn't use them aswell -_-

Hi I have just bought a XT45 and monsta 480mm rads with noiseblockers PL2 fans. Im using Xt45 in pull and monsta in push pull. The pl2 fans came with a rubber gasket. Im not sure to use them or not? Has anybody used Rubber Gaskets on there rads?

yes they are to reduce vibrations and some other things like to ensure contact and whatnot.

Yes, use the gaskets.  While they don't always cut down on noise, they do improve airflow because no leakage occurs.
