laptop temp problems

My laptop temps a really weird can any give suggestions to why? At 50% load I'm almost at 100 degrees Celsius and at 1% load I'm at 70

some but not enough that it would inhibit performance

You rarely ever have to take out the CPU, it's usually just the cooler.

I doubt you'll break it, if anything you're doing your CPU a favor by making it run cooler if you replace the TIM. High temperatures are notorious for degrading CPUs.

well it's better now after a re-start probably some weird glitch with fans not going all the way up or something
