My soundcard has been having issues ever since I bought it, after 6-10hours of my PC being on, it gets "sound artifacts" crackles/pops etc.

Restarting it fixes the problem, but said problem arises again after another 6-10hours.

I got a replacement, tested latency with DPC Latency Checker, disabled drivers/devices to test and see what was interfering.

Basically I've tried everything, re-installed drivers, changed pci slots, checked power connectors, checked if it was overheating.

The only theory I have left, is...

Is it possible my PSU is screwing up after it's been on for awhile? I don't know what else to check, seeing as I think I've done about everything I can do.

I don't think it's my motherboard, considering everything else works perfectly fine.

Soundcard: Asus Xonar Phoebus

PSU- Corsair hx1050.

Maybe the power connector you are using from the psu has gone bad? do you have another psu on hand you try it out?

the Pci-e connector? or the 1 that goes from the wall to the psu?

Does the soundcard have a external power requirement like a 4pin molex? if so it could be a bad PSU or to much ripple on the rail.

Yeah, a pci-e 6 pin I believe    I'll try swapping out the cable and see if it helps, although I'll have to wait 8-ish hours to see if it fixed it LOL.
