Is my PSU Dead?! HELP!

Go to solution Solved by Safinn,

The fan is not on at all times on that PSU if I'm correct (Can someone please confirm?). It comes on when under heavy load so probably working fine.

Edit: After a search I can confirm the fan does not spin unless need for example the PSU is on heavy load. Therefore everything should be fine.

So I bought a PSU (Corsair AX 750) about a week ago, and I'm just getting around to testing it now, since  I dont have all the parts for my rig yet, so I went to do the paper clip test (it's my first paper clip test ever, but I'm 99% sure I had the right pins) and I flicked the PSU on and it would make a click sound, then after a few seconds the fan would make a couple revolutions then stop.. Not sure what to do, uploading a video of it right now, I'll link it when it's done.

NVM Just read some Corsair tech forums with actual corsair employee's confirmed fan doesn't spin up until certain temp/load. Phew. Almost cried. (not really! )
