Need help finding a good case

mage7206

So im looking for a good case that supports micro atx motherbords, has 2+ fans (preferably three), and a decent 500-600watt power supply, all together for about $80-$100, preferably on the lower end of that price :P If I can get a good deal I would go with a separate power supply and would like at least 80+ bronze. This is a lot to ask for but im just barely out of my price range for my new computer and want to find some good deals to cut back.

The power supply isn't something you want to skimp out on. The case, maybe, but make sure you get a decent PSU. The NZXT Source 210 is a pretty good budget case.

Never use the PSU that comes with the case.

Just don't. The reason why they include it so that they hope you will buy their crappy case because it comes with a PSU.

Like Trinhbot said, if you skimp on the power supply and buy one with no/poor overvolt/current/etc protection and anything happens, it will fry your motherboard and possibly more..

I honestly wouldn't recommend getting a case less than 50 bucks. I had one build where a client wanted to cheap out on the case and got one that was 30 bucks, and I literally spent more time trying to figure out how to take out the PCI-E covers then installing everything in the case. Also there wasn't much space in the back to cable manage. You literally get what you pay for.

As for the PSU, you can always find a Corsair CM series usually 500-600 watts for around 40-50 bucks with a mail-in-rebate.

Here you go.

True, but just keep in mind that with mail in rebates, you get the money back in gift cards and you won't see those gift cards for a good 2-3 months

A good micro ATX case for the money is the Fractal Design Core 1300.  It's like, $35 on NCIX and it's not bad
