Yes I got a 970, Yes, I know there are many threads about it. Yes, I have looked into some of the Threads. (I really like that one thread where the guy didn't wanted to share the link with us)

 

I could only find one link to that Nai Vram thing, so I downloaded it and it doesn't work. Gives me some random error. Is there a different tool to test the VRAM? What game can you recommend to test the issue? I tried MSI Kombuster 2 and it used 3904MB and it didn't notice anything bad.

You could use Valley Benchmark to use your VRAM? It always maxes out for me at 4K

 

There is no 4k option, only 1440p. Do I need to use the costume one?

You can use DSR maybe? I just have a 4k display

It wouldn't reach 3Gb, even when using 2 screens and down sampling 1440p.
