what is the difference between crossfire and crossfirex??which one to choose?need a-z information about it!

Crossfire doesn't exist.  CrossFireX is the proper name.  Most people just call it Crossfire because it's easier and people know what you're referring to.

crossfire is just easier to say than crossfirex, thats the only difference.

Crossfire does exist actually.

 

the difference between the two is that Crossfire is for the much older Radeon X series whereas CrossfireX is for the Radeon HD series of cards
