Is it possible to get this monitor with a dvi-i to over 144hz or even to 144hz or should i get a displayport

Dual Link DVI can carry 1080p @144hz no problem. You just need to make sure you're using a dual link dvi cable. 

 

dual link dvi vs. display port makes no difference.

Dual dvi or use display port.

I doubt you'll be able to push it past 144hz anyway. Plus anything over 144hz is difficult to drive (unless you're playing CSGO), and not a huge improvement.

i play minecraft a lot i allredy have this monitor and minecraft isint a ver power hungry game
