Hey,

I have been having some issues with my H80i watercooling. I searched the internet on a fix but didn't find any. Also saw alot of pepole was experiencing the same problems. My problem was that on startup the pump/fan made a loud noise, it was like it was air bubbles inside the unit.

But now yesterday I tried to fix the problem and I'm pretty sure i succeded. Haven't had any problems so far.

So I though I'd post here how I solved it so maybe more pepole can solve their issues.

The only thing I had to do was to move the pump header to a different 4pin socket on the motherboard, update the software and firmware to the newest. Then it magicly worked. I moved my pin from a PWM header to the CPU header. Hope this helps other pepole that are experiencing similar problems.

I know that the H100i's pump only connects to the motherboard for RPM monitoring, the power comes from a SATA power connector.

Wouldn't it be the same with the H80i, as they use the same waterblock?
