This is my new build, going from a AMD FX8350 o/c at 4.8gHz in a Thermaltake Level 10 Gt Snow Edition case.

A big difference going to a small mATX build. Going to be used mainly as a media PC & general web stuff.

Hence the black/red colour scheme as it matches the rest of my AV gear.

Dual outputs to the 24" LG IPS & 42" LCD screens.

Not quite finished yet. Waiting on the Graphics card to be delivered & fan splitter cable.

Then a final cable tidy up & case clean.

Any input is greatly appreciated, good & bad :)

I already had a CPU & RAM from something else. An i5 4570 3.2ghz & 4 x 4gb Samsung 1600mhz

Upgrades to come are an i7 4790k & 2 x 8gb 2400mhz RAM

Also a full proper water cooling kit. Parts & cost have been worked out.

Now just need the budget to go get it all lol

Sweet, I've known of these cases for quite a while, though haven't seen a build in one.

My personal favorite of them is the blue and black one.

Looks nice, I'm not a big fan of the red and black color scheme but this still looks good.

Not really a fan of the black & red either. But now that it's almost built I quite like it

But needed the black case to go with the rest of my a/v gear.

And also I wanted the ROG Gene board as its prob the best mATX board available.

The case & board are the only black & red through out the build.

Shame about that hideous Antec cooler. Don't know what they were thinking. All this build needs now is a sexy video card to finish it off.

Not a great fan of the cooler either, with the looks or the performance. For some reason it's not giving a CPU fan speed.

But it is only in there as a temp measure while I get the funds available to go to a full custom loop.

Parts have been picked out. But I think it will happen soon rather than later.

I was going the i7 4790k 1st, But I think custom loop will now be 1st.

Video card is on its way. ASUS GTX 680 DirectCUII. Got it 2nd hand at a good price.

I don't need anything else with more performance than what this card will give.

And it will suit the build beautifuly

Cheers

Took the ASUS GTX 680 DirectCU II OC card apart to clean all the dust out.

And clean all the old thermal paste that was a little hard as well.

Put in new GC Extreme paste & put back together.

No to pull apart parts & the case for a final tidy up of cables.

Time to start planning the twin 240mm radiators water cooling....
