Hi all,
I have not been researching about ssd for a while due to having already make the plunge a few years ago. But I was wanting a secound SSD for some games... Just wondering what is the best value for money in terms of size now and any recommended brands. Herd that everyone is likeing Samgung at the moment but also herd that they had some firmware bugs aswell.

Honestly dude, I would wait another year.  The SSD prices are falling so fast, a 1TB SSD is down to around $350-$400 depending on brand, and I'm hoping it will drop to below $300 by the end of the year.  The only real performance benefit you're looking at is faster load times.  Only you can decide if a few hundo is worth loading a game a little bit faster.

I personally wouldnt bother with an ssd dedicated to games. Unless its one of those rare games like civ 5 the load time isnt bad on a WD black speed drive. I only really notice it with things like PS or 3dsmax. games load quick enough as is on 7200rpm drives.

Good Point, when I had brought my current SSD prices were at $1 -$1.20 per gb and the AUS dollar was on par with the US. But the dollar over here does not look like it will go up anytime soon. So its abit of a gamble if I will get much of a price drop
