I recently put the evga backplate on my 970 but to do so I removed the "warranty void if removed" sticker that was on the pcb and put it on the side of the cooling shroud (not visible when installed). Did I just ruin my chances at repairs/replacements if something were to happen? Or could I just remove the backplate and put the sticker back on the pcb?

I would say that if you get theirs backplate for theirs GPU they should honor the warranty. EVGA is usually cool with things like that :)

My modded Air 540 build
