Warranty sticker

I recently put the evga backplate on my 970 but to do so I removed the "warranty void if removed" sticker that was on the pcb and put it on the side of the cooling shroud (not visible when installed). Did I just ruin my chances at repairs/replacements if something were to happen? Or could I just remove the backplate and put the sticker back on the pcb?

That shouldnt be a problem, unlike me, I threw the sticker in the trash and dont know, if they accept my GPU for the step-up program, but hopefully they will

I would say that if you get theirs backplate for theirs GPU they should honor the warranty. EVGA is usually cool with things like that
