Hello!

I've been using Crossfire and Eyefinity for years now but today I ran into a problem...

I wanted to see how much VRAM was being utilised as well as how much each GPU was being used while playing a game (Titanfall in this situation).

So, I opened up Titanfall, alt-tabbed and opened GPUz - all was fine. I set that to look at GPU1's sensors and nothing was broken. Then I opened up another GPUz and set it to look at GPU2's sensors - all was fine. Then I opened a third GPUz... Complete system hang. It just wouldn't do anything - not even any mouse movement.

Attempt 2: I opened up three GPUz windows on the sensors tab - one for each GPU. All was fine. I opened up Titanfall - bam - complete system hang. This is a picture (couldn't screenshot due to crash) of the outputs from GPUz.

Anyone got any idea what's going on with GPU3 there?

What's likely to be causing that and how can I fix it?

Did you enable/disable ulps?

I'm not using any third party OC utilities - just the stock CCC settings and as far as I'm aware, ULPS isn't an option on that. Should I grab Afterburner and disable it?

EDIT: Did so and it seems to have fixed it - weird. It seems that I do use all of my VRAM in Titanfall and that would explain the odd drops in FPS. I don't use AA so it's just textures and resolution. Is there anything I can do to improve performance without reducing visual fidelity too much?

What fps do you have. Also disable ulps every time you install a new driver.

I play at 1080p, textures and everything else at max. I get about 100 fps...

I'm playing at 3240x1920 and I've OCed my monitors to 77Hz. Most of the time, I'm getting 77fps but occasionally it dips.

Question: When my frame rate is below 77fps, how come even then, I'm not utilising more than 40% on any GPU?

My CPU is a 4.6GHz i7 3930K, so it's not exactly lacking.
