Twitter notifications not working?

hey, i have a nexus 5, title says it all. I have 1 persons tweets set up for push notifications because a person tweets before streams so i don't miss it(since even the "gameplay alert" app is always 15 minutes late on alerts).

I have the notification set up and all but never EVER do i get a twitter notification.

 

Anybody have an idea?

Do you get regular notifications when people reply to, favorite, or retweet your tweets or follow you?

@Aniallation no, i don't, the settings check out, i even set up twitter to have priority notifications in android. Yet nothing.
