i think there is something wrong HELP ?!

Even if you mod it it would not work in all likelihood.

So for a while my temps have been high but i just thought it was becuase i had little airflow and my air was allways hot anyways

but i can be just talking to friends on skype and scrolling facebook and my temps are like 55-60

this screenshot was taken while on skype and watching a livestream:

i have the stock cooler and heatsink for my intel i5 2500k

i have a Gainward GTX 570

and i have a 850Watt PSU

Gigabyte H61M-S2PV Motherboard

so i dont know what the problem could be i know that there isnt alot of room for airflow but i still dont think they should be this high

please if you have any ideas please respond

thanks :D

I am not wondering, becouse you have little airfow and gtx 570 and your psu heating your CPU, so there is like a little sauna inside your computer.

You didn't mention if the high temps were your GPU or your CPU

For the GPU, if you're on the 320.18 driver, roll back, it's been causing issues.

For the CPU, intel's stock cooler is just poor. You might want to invest in a cheap, aftermarket cooling solution like the hyper 212 evo.

try remounting the stock cooler.

1.clean off thermal paste thoroughly from both the heatsink and processor

2.apply new thermal paste in a pea shap or line. (do not spread it)

3.install heatsink. (press down on the two push pins at a diagonal from one another at the same time)

Tomorrow while the family is out im goina set up my pc downstairs to see what the difference is

because if there is no difference then i think it might be somthing wrong with my system itself

maybe motherboard or cpu

but soon am going to get the Corsair H100i

i know that it will lower my temps by alot

he has 65C.that isn't the intel stock cooler quality
