Debian based distro for tiny HDD

I was going to be putting a windows OS on my old P3 rig. But due to the computer only recognizing my Windows 10 tech preview install disc, I've decided to install DOS on my 85MB HDD (already done), and dual boot it with a Linux distro. I'm looking for a Debian based distro (I've managed to get drivers for all of my expansion cards so its my best option) that can fit on a 544MB HDD (I'm going to use floppy disks, RW discs and a 64GB usb for storage), and run on: Pentium 3 667MHz (up to 750MHz overclock), 300MB of RAM. I'm not that picky about the distro, as long as my computer works.

for long term support, i'd bet lubuntu is your best bet. It'll run on a P2 or Celeron of that generation and 128 mb of ram. Plus you can live CD it. Plus it'll give you access to modern browsers if needed.

I was just looking it up, and the alternative method might be the only method available to me. I just managed to get my 80GB HDD working though, so I'll be trying the standard install first. If the HDD fails again I'll go with the alternative install.
