I´m pretty happy with my setup, but some of you with more experience may have some suggestions for changes or upgrades :)

My setup:

Cooler master silencio 550

Asus sabertooth z77 (fans on motherboard turned OFF)

Core i5 2500k with a massive gigantic coolermaster cooler on it

8gb kingston hyperx 1866mhz

HIS r9 280x (the one with 1050mhz from factory)

240gb kingston v300 ssd

1tb ws harddrive

Corsair vs450 (i know this needs to be replaced fast as possible but to what?)

Keep in mind that i "only" game in 1080p (i use my tv)

If you want to upgrade, start with a new CPU + mobo (this isn't really necessary since the 2500K is still great) and then go for a new PSU and GPU.

PSU: Change to CS550M for single card setups, EVGA G2 750W for Nvidia SLI or EVGA G2 850W for AMD CF

The rest is really fine as is

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861
