Hello, so is it going to be possible to update TP to normal version when it comes out? I mean with patch, without reinstalling OS.

Hard to say, there could be so many changes from TP to full version that it might need a clean install

Yep

Edit: I suggest finding info on how it was done with the W8 technical preview and maybe try to find out whether those needed a clean install

I installed Windows 8 when the first Dev Preview came out, and when full W8 launched, i was able to upgrade.

Also, I thought I heard someone at Ms say that it would be a direct upgrade from W10 TP to W10 RTM, in a twitter post

I'm actually genuinely surprised. So basically, if you become a tech previewer they'll just give you a free copy of Windows?

Well, with Windows 8 DP, no. You had to buy Windows 8, but you kept all of your programs and files without reinstalling Windows. However, Windows 10 will be completely free, because Windows 10 is free for everyone running Windows 8 and 7

10 is better than 8. I have the tech preview and i like it more than i ever liked 8. Never wanted 8 so i stuck with 7 till now. So i'm happy. My new build is nearly done so i might dual boot on seperate SSD's just because i can... And because i have a feeling a tech preview will eventually fail.
