New power house pc build

aboulay

I recently built a micro ATX gaming rig for my brother and it's amazing. I was contemplating building myself one and was wondering whether the community could give me some feedback. that being said, i am attached to running intel and the case i chose is something i really like. Please feel free to comment on the components.

Will you be using the rig solely for gaming?

gaming, media, video editing, work... pretty much i just want something that can literally handle anything i throw at it. i know its a little overkill but i figure i should treat myself :)

looks good to me, pretty well balanced, you could get away with a smaller power supply but I guess your futureproofing for maybe an SLI upgrade?

if your not going to add an extra card in there in the future, you could swap out the cooler for a h100i or similar, and get a better overclock on the cpu, along with cooler/quieter running.

you are correct in assuming the sli. i figure in a few months id add in the card hence the overkill on the psu. I will take into consideration the h100i.
