Looking for a CPU Cooler

I need/want a CPU cooler that is under $100 & fits in my case. I want to get around a 4.3ghz OC on my i5 4690k (I know that I could have a dud cpu & never get that). My motherboard is a ASUS Z87 Gryphon & my case is the Corsair 450d. I was going to purchase the noctua NH-D15/NH-D14 but my motherboard is not compatible.

If that's USD, you should be able to pick up a 240 mm AIO for that money

 

Mine's a corsair h100i, some issues with it, but mainly installation, and the fact I can't seem to turn the pump speed down.

Maybe get the Corsair h100i, it's pretty cool and usually under $100

Most cooling companies have an AIO in your price range. I would recommend sticking with 240mm rads however as I don't feel the 120's do much more than look pretty. and the one's that are thick enough to do something usually need two fans in push pull, and then you're dealing with clearance issues anyway.

I am assuming that you want an air cooler, since you opened the topic in this subforum.

 

Have you looked at the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 or Scythe Grand Kama Cross?

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find compatibility lists for either.

 

Since you have such a high budget, a high-end all-in-one water cooler like the Corsair H100i might be a more compelling choice.
