Proxy Server/ Java Help

So I recently set up a local hosted Proxy Server using this article,

I am using Phproxy and WAMP to host the server.

I am using this proxy server so that me and a few buddies can bypass our school's web filter, 'iboss' 

But when I go to a webpage that displays video, or uses Java I get this.

Hello, you seem to have JavaScript turned off. Please enable it to see search results properly.

I basically know nothing about coding, proxy's, or anything, I just followed the guide above.

Is there any way I can have this load up JavaScript so that me and my buddies can bypass our schools iboss web filter?
