Comcast blocking DNS?

So am under this assumption that comcast is being a little bitch and they are blocking any DNS servers that aren't theirs because almost every single damn time when I use another server I constantly keep getting yellow triangles right on my Wifi thing on my desktop. Is this true or are the DNS servers am trying just crappy ?
