I have a 256gb ssd boot drive with a wd black 1tb mass storage drive with my steam library on it. Recently I tried to add an extra 500gb wd green drive for other random stuff, but upon adding it to my system, windows didnt see my wd black anymore and I cant access my steam library anymore. I took the wd green out and just left my original config but windows still only recoginized the boot drive and not the wd black. Even in disk management my wd black doesn't show up. However, in the bios in my BBS boot priorities the drive appears as the 2nd boot option right under the 1st boot option, my ssd. How do i get windows to see my wd black with all of my games on it?

You might have changed the sata ports by chance? If you're running windows 8, hold the windows key and press Q and search for partitions and press enter. It should open DiskManagement... See if you can see your drive there... You might just need to assign it a new Drive Letter by right clicking on the drive and clicking on "change drive letter and paths..."

I've disconnected all SATA cables except for the one going to my boot SSD and the mass storage HDD. I am running windows 8, but the volume doesnt show up in disk management, it only appears in my bios boot priority, unless it is somehow hidden somewhere in disk utlity

I tried to erase the drive completely on my mac using disk utility, I'm sure I was successful but Windows still doesn't recognize the drive in disk management. What could have happened to the drive to cause this problem???
