So I order a OnePlus One... Still not sure if that was a good idea yet.

 

Anyway - currently both my Nexus 7 and Note 2 are on Lollipop and I don't want to go back to KK.

 

So here's my question:

 

Is the One already rooted?

Would I need to install a custom recovery?

 

Basically, which bits of the typical install custom rom steps that need to be done when dealing with say.. A samsung phone, can I skip?

i believe they just realised custom L firmware for it after breaking any from cyanogenmod. You will need to root yourself.
