I am selling my old Alienware x51 for some money to get a 4k gaming beast.  I was wondering how much you guys think I could get for my computer?  In my older threads the computer was broken, but I recently fixed it (I did it on my own, Dell didn't help me with it).

Anyways, my computer is in decent condition, with minor signs of wear.  Everything works perfectly on it; all the lights, ports, and features.  The GPU is an Nvidia 760, and the CPU is an i7 4770.  It has 8GB 1600MHz RAM, a 1TB 7200 RPM HDD, CD/DVD drive, 330W Alienware PSU, Alienware x51 motherboard, and Alienware x51 case.  The computer was $1300-$1400 dollars, but I got it on sale for $1100, a pretty good deal for Alienware.

Thanks in advanced for any help.

EDIT:  If you already sold your Alienware x51, how much did you get for it?

X51's don't really go for anywhere near as much as that other guy said. You're looking at maybe 500 USD. MAYBE.

EDIT: You'll be far better off with a part out.

If he can find the generic COD kid to sell it to, then he should be around the 700$ mark. It has a 4770 and a 760.

Honestly i think even $600 is pushing it. For a gaming rig you could build a better one brand new for around $650 with a Xeon E3-1231 V3 (same performance as the i7) and an R9 280 (better performance than the 760). If someone does buy it for $700, theyre a sucker.

If you do sell it, make sure you do a clean wipe of the hard drive. Just reformatting it isn't enough. Otherwise they can get at your data.
