Keyboard issues D:

I'm having troubles with my keyboard. I used to have it set to the UK layout, but then I changed it to US International so I could use the \ key. But now that I have changed it, I have to double press the ' key to print one, but it prints two... This is very annoying and I was just wondering if anyone knew a fix for it.

When you press ' you either press space or the next letter you wanted to type.

For example: 

Don't , I just typed Don, then i pressed the ' key once, and then finished it with the T, making the ' show up.
