ive been researching and such for a week now, i have never built a pc ive always just bought pre built ones.

 

my budget is 550$ before mail in rebates. Ill be playing games such as league of legends, Modded minecraft, maybe some wow and future mmorpgs that peak my interest.

For the same price not really, you could throw in the pentium G3258 and a mb that's roughly the same price, but that will still play LoL perfectly with that GPU. I'm not sure about minecraft because that's more CPU intensive

i doubt that i think minecraft really likes single core peformance i really do think that but not entierly sure
