Amd a8 7600 graphics

Hi guys i need your help for a friend's new build, is a8 7600 graphics better than his old nvidia asus 9500 gt 512mb ?

Also regarding to the release of gtx 960 am i the only one disappointed about the specs of this card ? Personally i doubt if this card will be better than r9 280

We only know how many CUDA cores it has("officially" at least), but not how many ROPs. In addition, the GTX 980 has significantly less CUDA cores than the 780 Ti, but thanks to the Maxwell architecture(and frequency), it is able to keep up and beat it in compute applications.
