Build a PC website?

Go to solution Solved by brob,

NCIXUSA.com will do this. Add all the parts to your shopping basket. Then add SKU 7842 (http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=7842&vpn=PC%2DASSEMBLY&manufacture=NCIXPC). See the link for what you get.

PCPartPicker.com

Are there any websites that will let you choose your parts then assemble it for you?

Misread heh, I guess computer stores like NCIX? Not sure how it works in America but NCIX, you can pick parts then pay them to assemble/do cable management.

Er, PCPartPicker just makes sure everything is compatible and easier to buy

I don't want to stress out over ESD and potentially breaking stuff. I was replacing a wireless card in a friends PC and started freaking out thinking 'm gonna break something.

A good option is to find a local computer store (i.e. OTV technologies in Saskatchewan) to do it for you. granted it might cost a little more but there are benefits such as getting to have input and more custom details as well as the possibility of finding someone that is passionate about there small business and not just a corporate jockey. Also supporting a local business is always great.

USA

Jeez, that was real specific!

If you're in Canada, NCIX PC works real well, except you obviously pay a premium and must opt for one of their configs. The "custom" aspect of it doesn't work so well when you have 1/2/3 choices for each part. A small local store won't have the amount of inventory they have and variety, and I've had terrible experiences with small local stores.

I think what he meant was that if you're nearby one of us can help you out...

Look at my post count. I haven't really been on long enough to know the forums well.

Well, that's good, it means you've got more of a chance to be yourself. :)

The unfortunate truth is that you may not be liked as much with being yourself, but don't be fazed by that. :)

BTW, your post count doesn't necessarily indicate how long you've been a member of this forum for. There're some people who have been a member since 2013 that have a lower post count than you.
