hello im thinking about buying a gamecube controller that have usb port for my pc.

does a thing like this work with dolphin and other games?

It is basically a generic usb controller, so I don't see why this won't work...

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.
