I don't know what the problem is but just cap the fps.

You gain nothing from having more than 20-25 fps over refresh rate except placebo effect making it feel better.

Cap the FPS at 60fps or 120fps and the stutter will most likely stop.

You gain nothing from having 20+ fps over refresh rate except placebo effect making it feel better.

that depends on frame timing.

Except for when the fps drops below your capped fps and that's when you start getting lag spikes/stutters

well it only stutters when i reach 900-1000 fps. lower than that its fine

The FPS has to be in sync with the refreshrate of the monitor, Cap it at 480 fps then, It is also timed with 60hz.

Why would the response time matter when it is stuttering?

I don't know about you but having 20-25+ fps over refresh rate makes it pretty stable to me even if I usually have more.

I don't get much lag spikes or stutters from it.

And if you get that low lag spikes/stutters then you shouldn't cap your fps since it's not stable.

I don't know what that is but what I wrote is mostly or entirely true.

You said 20 frames per second.

if those 20 frames are in first 0.5s and in other 0.5s there is no one single frame for example than it wont be smooth at all.

Thats the thing most people dont understand in low/high fps rant. 20 fps is ok if those are evenly spread over that one second.

The FPS has to be in the right timing, Cap it at 680 fps then, It is also timed with 60hz.

wtf you wanted to say with other sentence?

I don't look or notice that stuff but ok.

Mostly the frames are stable for me.

I assume it is like that for other people too.

It wouldn't really, that's why I did not mention it. Just in case you were wondering, if the refresh rate is not synced with the frame rate then it can cause similar problems.

I know, Thats why i suggested capping the fps at a synced rate, 60, 120, 240 or 480fps.
