dual config w/two different models

So i have a Dell t1700 basically stock besides my gtx 750ti. I have two monitors both from Dell (P2414H and a G2410). The current one I'm using (P2414H), that came w/the machine, has vga, hdmi, display port and dvi along with usb ports. the second older one only has vga and dvi. I have the newer one i'm using hooked up using Displayport. 

 My question is can I go dual with these two? If i can do they both need to be connected to the video card the same way (via splitter into dvi?) or can i do dvi for the older one and display port for the newer and then change settings somewhere? would that even work? would they both even turn on? if so would they both have the same image? i hope you understand what i'm trying to ask and please forgive my ignorance. the last time i had a dual config it was dms59. thanks, DZA
