I'm assuming gaming but this is quite adequate for most things. If you need to do rendering/editing/other workstation stuffs, you can bump up to 16gigs of ram/xeon e3 1230 v2 and still stay within budget.

Psu is a bit overkill. You can run a 7970 off of a 600w. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cx600m

I also wouldn't get Cooler master psus if I had better alternatives. Mainly Seasonic, antec, corsair, xfx, etc.

A single card shouldn't run more than a 600w. For sli/crossfire, you'd want a 750w.
