GTX 970 100% usage

So, I've been having alot of problems with my Gigabyte GTX 970 recently. About 2 weeks ago it wouldn't play any graphically intensive games (including CS:GO!) when even slightly overclocked.  Today I just opened MSI Afterburner whilst playing and noticed the gpu usage was at a constant 100%! The temps averaged at about 66. I run BF4 at ultra on a 1080p screen and I usually get 60-120 fps in game. Should I RMA it?

I had a similar problem in my pc. Whenever I'd fire a particular game, it would lock the speed to 405 mhz, until the PC was restarted. Even after closing the program, the GPU would just be stuck at that speed.

GPU's will always jump to 99% usage, that's what they're made for to maximize performance, just use Vsync but you still get can 99% usage if your fps is below the monitors refresh rate.

Seems about right to me. 100% is a good sign when in games.

Really? I'd think that it running at 100% all the time in game would degrade it overtime.

why? they are made to run at 100%, a bad thing would be if the card is running at 50%....

100% fan speed all the time is not good.

But 100% load or w/e it's called doesn't affect it as much.

Since it's the temperatures that makes it degrade over time. ( I think)
