Hi,

I am looking to build a new PC, it will mostly be used for playing CS:GO. My current laptop connected to a monitor with an old heatsink next to it blowing air over it so it doesn't overheat over 90c is not running so well. It just needs to be cheap (~$600), size doesn't really matter and just to get good FPS (100-150+ would be great). I would also like to be able to upgrade it in the future to run other games and edit video.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

Thanks!

Thanks. I will look into it. How much FPS would I expect to get? And yeah, Partpicker is so bad here, I can go to pricespy and save $200

I thought it liked fewer, "stronger" cores (need some sort of proof). Perhaps i am confusing it with tf2.

It still gets cpu bottlenecked even if it runs at reasonable framerates.

It actually prefers higher mhz as it eats cpu for whatever reason.
