BIOS settings not applying

Hi,

 

When i try to clock my cpu in bios (i followed a guide), I change the ratio and go to windows, I check my cpu-z and nothing has changed.

I overclocked my same setup like a year ago but i totally forgot how i did it, plus the friend i did it with i no longer speek.

You need to save it.. but if it dont save.. then you need to change the mobo battery

I did but it just tests  @3.4ghz

Instead of the 36 ratio or w/e i put in.....

Sory man.. didnt want to be rude... If you have another working motherboard, try to switch the battery... because if the battery is dead then your bios wont save anything, just to be sure
