Razer BlackWidow Chroma Question

Go to solution Solved by Timodtc7,

It is possible, but they have their own switches, so most 3rd parties keycaps don't work.

Yeah I know, I'm just going to swap two keycap's positions, since they've placed them wrong based on my keyboard input.

are they the modifier keys (control, alt, windows) then you may have a problem. On the old Blackwidow, the keys were different size. not sure about the Chroma. Also, be sure the keycaps are the same size/curve. On most keyboard, the rows have a different curve to the keycaps

Nah it's two letter caps, which apparently they've placed opposite of how they're supposed to be in my country :)

So hopefully that shouldn't be a hassle to switch those two.

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the keycaps from the keyboard? :)

Actually, Razer switches are based on Cherry MX design so they are compatible with Cherry MX keycaps. Like most gaming mechanical keyboards (Quickfire TK, K70, K95, G710+, etc.), the bottom row is non-standard which makes it hard to find full sets. And of course if you have a non-US layout that also adds extra difficulty to finding complete sets. Ducky has options for most languages and WASDKeyboards lets you customize it to your language.
