Case fan orientations

Would changing the top 2 fans on a Fractal R2 benefit cpu cooling? the top 2 fans are usually used as exhaust as heat travels upwards, but flipping the fans into intakes would benefit a tower cooler as cool air is being directed to the heat sink.
 

btw: I'm currently using a noctua nh-d14.
