Max Fan Header Amp

Go to solution Solved by Lolzious,

I don't think you would run in to any problems :)

I'm currently building on a M-ITX bord and I have a AIO cooler and 2 case fans. However I only have 2 headers. Can I split for 3 fans on one header?

I have heard 1 amp is the max you should go on a header but I should check my mobo. I couldn't find anything on my Asrock H97-M-ITX/ac. Is 1 amp a general industry standard?

Molex is not really a good option plus I would have to buy some cords anyways so a spliter would be cheaper and less of a burden in my small case.

I figure I leave the AIO pump to have one header and spit the other one. The 3 fans would max at .86 amps.

Fans are C.M. Blade Master 2 120mm 1 80mm

I know speed rage is different for the 80 (800-3000 rather than 600-2000). Would this be a problem on its own?

I'm not looking to control each fan and noise isn't a factor so I'm skipping a fan controller.

Thanks!
