My mum recently dropped her tablet and broke her screen :'(

But the actual tablet is still working its just the touchscreen is stuffed.

I thought that maybe if I attach a mouse I can log into it and just use it like a lappy and take the mouse and keyboard places.

It has a micro usb so I bought a micro usb to usb adapter and attached my mouse to it yet it still isnt working.

any suggestions?

Ive heard of OTG cables but they are always mentioned with android tabs.

The tablet is an Asus Vivo Smart Tab ME400c.

Thanks in advance :D

It works on my phone too, so I'm sure it will work fine for the tablet.

Anyways, a Bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo might be worth a look.
