I am picking out all of the parts for my custom water loop, and I came to a part I know nothing about: the pump. So I have one CPU and one GPU, but I may expand to two, and two large-ish rads, and the longest run will be about 8". I want something that is very reliable but also semi-compact. Also if you know of any good reservoirs you can recommend I still haven't decided on it either.

so are you looking to use the bayres combo or independent res and pump?

the compact size is called DDC or 350/355/35x. depending on size limitations

the D5 or 655 can be considered small, again depending on using a bayres

or indy parts.

Bayres' are out of the way and with a D5 pump you wont need more power and they are really reliable! they come at a kinda high price, but you get what you pay for in my opinion!

Then there are the cylinder/pump combos, alot of different companies makes these, with them the pump pretty much only sticks out about 1.5" maybe (?) not more than 2" thats for sure! But with a dual bayres you have it all there too.

If you dont really know what im talking about, paste in a link to your favorite watercooling store and I will give you a few examples of both.. you have to be quick though, going to bed soon.. :D

(Comming soon)
