Hello,

I am trying to setup my Canon Pixma MG3520 as a wireless printer to no avail.

My Router is the Cisco DPC3825 included with my modem/router combo unit from Shaw (I'm well aware that it's pretty terrible and that I really should purchase a new router to run in bridge mode).

I have tried both in wireless mode (by holding down the wifi button on the router until it flashes when prompted by the driver install, as well as via network USB to my router and selecting the appropriate option in the driver installation menu. Both methods result in the printer not being detection.

The system I am using is running Windows 7 64-bit and I have used the correct driver download from the Canon US site.

All help is greatly appreciated!

Often doing the initial setup over USB, then switching the printer to wireless is a solid way to go.

I've just realized I may have had a huge brain fart. My PC is connected by Ethernet via a powerline adapter. Although, this should still work when the printer is connected via USB to the router, right?

*Should* being the optimal word there. I'd still suggest a USB from the printer directly into your computer for setup.
