Ok so I have a modem/router that was provided by my service provider a netgear (CG3000V2) and
an r8000 (also from netgear) now, I would like to connect the r8000 as my router, the signal interferes making
the speeds very slow. What i need help with tho is making it so they dont interfere.

Thanks for your time =)

you need to disable the DHCP on the secondary router

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

is there anyway you can configure the Wifi of one router to be on a fixed channel?

like one is for 2.4 for the older router

and the newer on on 5GHz

if not I will suggest just running only one router with Wifi and the other Wifi disabled

DNS IP address, follow the primary routers DNS address
