PC Crashes while playing dragon age

So my brother is playing dragon age and every once in awhile in the middle of a fight his screen will go black and his pc will restart.

Every driver is updated, no temps are off the roof it is watercooled and we just cloned from a 10year old hard drive to a brand new one. it was sorta doing it on the old one and thats why we switched drives

 

its a Anthlon 4k 760k unoverclocked.

1866 8g corsair veng ram

radeon r9 280

asrock fm2+ mobo

corsair 430 power supply

toshiba 7200rpm hdd (was a spare)

 

im kinda lost besides maybe the game needs patched but anyone have a clue? theres nothing that pops up besides windows has unexpectedly shut down. He said it just will lock up game freezes screen goes black and then comp restarts itself.

What settings are you using? There's a bug with the particle effects at the moment, so turn them down to high or medium.

he was on ultra everything besides AA and astro filtering and those settings so ill let him know
