Iphone 3Gs problems after failed jailbreaking

so my old iPhone 3Gs has been putting on the years, i've had this problem a while and moved on to a Galaxy S3.

 

the problem occured after i messed up a jailbreak. when i turn on my phone it boots up just fine and all but the moment i lock the phone or it goes into standby the screen is white when i unlock it

 

i somehow doubt its the connector as it works just fine up until i wake it. unable to find any answers on google and would greatly appreciate any help

I don't know how to fix, and apple won't fix, just get an android

If you're jailbreaking a 3GS... wow.

 

Anyways, you might consider just getting a new phone in the first place.

Can you do a restore in iTunes? Shift click restore and select an IPSW. option/command click on a mac.
