Changing ROM

So I'm thinking of changing the ROM on my Note 2 so I can get one based off Lollipop. Currently I'm on CM11 and thinking of switching to the CM12 based Resurrection Remix.

 

So here's my question:

Will I need to clear the cache in my recovery, or can I tell recovery to just install the new ROM in the same way I would if I was updating CM? (I already have a CWM based recovery installed)

If you were going to install the new rom, then you're going to have to flash it, wiping the dalvik cache.
